Flagler and Volusia County businesses can take advantage of CareerSource Flagler Volusia’s On-The Job-Training Program (OJT.)
A major goal of CareerSource Flagler Volusia is to assist individuals with getting back to work while, at the same time, helping businesses fill vacant positions. We are aware of the costs associated with hiring and training a new employee and our program is designed to help offset some of these costs. Businesses hiring full time employees who meet certain eligibility requirements may qualify for reimbursement of up to fifty percent of the eligible new employee’s wages as funding is available.
At this time, we have currently committed all funds for this quarter’s OJT assistance. We are committed to exploring other options to your business for its hiring needs. Contact your Business Service Representative for more information.
