CareerSource Flagler Volusia may award scholarships for eligible individuals to pursue training in a targeted occupation at a local approved training vendor.

At this time, we have currently committed all funds for this quarter’s training scholarships.  While we cannot provide tuition assistance to you now, we are committed to exploring other options with you for your employment needs. Approved Training Providers and Programs

Reemployment Assistance (formerly Unemployment Compensation) provides temporary wage benefits to qualified individuals who are out of work through no fault of their own.  Although CareerSource Flagler Volusia is not the reemployment office, we can connect you to the Department of Economic Opportunity to file a claim.  Please note staff members are not employed by Florida’s Reemployment Assistance program and therefor cannot determine or offer opinions on your eligibility for benefits.

CareerSource Flagler Volusia provides computers with internet access and phone and fax access so that you can apply for and make inquiries about eligibility for Reemployment Assistance.

To learn if you are eligible for Reemployment Assistance benefits, you must visit Florida’s Department of Economic Opportunity’s File a Claim Site (Connect) or call 1-800-204-2418.
